Q-Department Information Retrieval and Management System (QIRMS)
QIRMS holds references and information relating to all the classified documents in the Q-Department library, similar to a library card-file system. Users can interact with QIRMS over the network through their web browsers to search for documents and review/modify/update their associated records. They can also create records for new documents.
QIRMS is a J2EE application implemented using the Model-Viewer-Controller (MVC) Architecture. All of the code related to QIRMS is Java. The QIRMS backend consists of an Apache Tomcat web server and a MS SQL database hosted on separate computers.
